Alfred University (AU) is a private, nonsectarian university of about 1,800 undergraduate and 200 graduate students. Alfred is home to the Inamori School of Engineering, School of Art and Design, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Professional Studies, and School of Business. AU is located between the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains and the picturesque Finger Lakes in Western New York State.
