Come Visit Us!

You can read all the brochures and websites you want about what college will be like, but nothing can really prepare you for that feeling when you step on campus. You will have the opportunity to meet admissions counselors, financial aid staff, faculty, coaches and current students. You will tour campus, performing arts practice & performance areas, athletic facilities, classrooms, a residence hall room and a dining hall. You can also see our extensive art and engineering facilities if you are interested.

There are several ways for you to experience AU:

Join us on either Saturday March 25 or Saturday April 1 for one of our Accepted Student Open Houses! This is the perfect time to come meet potential classmates, speak with professors, learn more about clubs and organization, and get tours of the campus.

Whether you are just starting your college search or right in the middle of it, AU’s Discovery Day on Thursday April 13th is perfect for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors! The event will begin at 9 AM. Register today to reserve your spot.

Want to come on a Saturday?

We are open on select Saturdays during the academic year. On Saturdays we offer group information sessions, general campus tours and specialized tours of our art and engineering facilities.

An individual visit is a great time explore all of what AU has to offer. Choose from:

  • Student-led campus tours, Art, and Engineering tours
  • Learn about Financial Aid at AU
  • Attend a class
  • Meet with a professor
  • Talk with an Admissions Counselor

If you're interested in our performing arts program or want to see the equestrian center, we can help you see these things too - just let us know when you are scheduling your visit! Graduate Students
Throughout the academic year, interviews are available weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an admissions counselor. Please contact us in advance so we may assist you in arranging a possible visit with the program department. During the summer, interviews are offered between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
